Motivation.. Strength in numbers...

Together we stand, Divided we fall... that famous quote we all have heard at one time or another throughout our lives...but it does ring true when trying to achieve or reach a goal. Surrounding ourselves with positive, supportive people, will definitely only help us reach ours.(ahh, the power of social networking) This is such a great idea, knowing that we will have the support of many "like minded people", ready to give us encouragement and support. I am so excited to be a part of this, and hopefully , by sharing some of my experiences, contribute in some small way to our success. Thanks for having me aboard!

  2. It truly amazes me how a small seed of an idea has grown into a whole group. I think this just goes to show you the power of Twitter when combined with creative, motivated educators. It is my hope that this group will help me hold myself accountable to stay health and fit. I am so glad that we were able to plant this seed and that all of you will be with us as it continues to grow. Go TEMT!!

  3. I am so motivated, more than I've ever been, to get on track with healthy eating and exercise. I'm new to Twitter and have absolutely loved the learning journey I've been on this summer. Now, I'll have a fit mind and body! Go TEMT!

  4. Great idea guys. I like that it is focused on the exercise part, not the diet. So many times at school the teachers go on a diet and don't change anything but what they eat. Then when it's over they go back to normal. The problem is they didn't change their lifestyle. Exercising everyday is powerful. My wife is a dietitian and I was talking to her about this motivator. Told her she needs to have social network like this for her patients. Hope to keep you posted, between two kids, their activities, me moving up to 7th and 8th, 1:1 laptop grant, and whatever else that cuts into my exercise routine, this is encouraging.

  5. I'm really hoping this group gets me running again. I have gone from running over 100kms a month to zero. Excuses like its too dark, cold and wet flood me every day as its winter in Australia and in particular Victoria.
Thx guys hope to see you on twitter.
PS. I've been for my walk.
